Research Schools Network

Sector-led support for evidence-based practice

The Research Schools Network is a collaboration between the Education Endowment Fund (EEF) and the Institute for Effective Education (IEE) to create a network of schools that will support the use of evidence to improve teaching practice.

Research Schools work with the other schools in their region to:

  • encourage schools to make use of evidence-based programmes and practices through regular communication and events
  • provide training and professional development for senior leaders and teachers on how to improve classroom practice based on the best available evidence
  • support schools to develop innovative ways of improving teaching and learning and providing them with the expertise to evaluate their impact

Take a look at who they are, where they are, and what they’re doing on the Research Schools Network website.
